AVIATION: Take to the skies (Session 1 and 2)
In this session, you will explore ʯÁñÊÓÆµ’s aviation programs and discover the diverse career opportunities available across the aviation industry. You’ll gain insight into how ʯÁñÊÓÆµ prepares graduates with industry relevant skills and real world experience. Then step into the cockpit of ʯÁñÊÓÆµ’s flight simulator for a hands on experience, taking control of a Boeing 737 and experiencing what it’s like to fly a large commercial aircraft.
BUSINESS: What if there were no right answers – only BETTER ideas? (Session 1)
In this session, you’ll experience how university learning is different from high school. You’ll work in teams to tackle real‑world challenges, starting with the Human Knot teamwork challenge, where communication, leadership, and collaboration matter more than instructions. You’ll then step into the mindset of an entrepreneur, using the Lean Model Canvas to shape a creative business idea - identifying problems, customers, and solutions the way real startups do. This session shows how business students learn by doing, thinking differently, and working together.
BUSINESS: Zero risk, real skills – learn share trading investment on the IG Virtual Platform (Session 2)
Zero Risk, Real Skills is a fast paced, team based trading simulation that introduces the basics of share trading and investing, without risking real money. Using a virtual trading platform, you'll work in teams to build and manage an investment portfolio, analyse market trends, and make strategic decisions. Along the way, you’ll gain insight into what studying at ʯÁñÊÓÆµ is like and the real world skills you can develop through these degrees. A fun, competitive, and risk free way to experience university style learning in action.

EDUCATION: Experience Education in Action (Session 1 and 2)
In this Education session, you’ll jump into a mix of hands on activities that bring learning to life. Working in groups, you’ll take on challenges like a STEM activity, role play real classroom scenarios, and put your problem solving skills to the test in an escape room challenge. It’s a fun, interactive way to experience what studying Education is really like and to explore whether teaching and learning could be the right path for you.
ENGINEERING: Earthquake engineering and smart sensors (Session 1 and 2)
This session has two jam-packed engineering workshops that will show you the important role that engineering plays in everyday life.
Earthquake Engineering: In this hands-on challenge, you become engineers by designing and building earthquake resistant structures.
Smart Sensor workshop: This workshop starts with real-world smart sensor applications in the human healthcare domain, and follows through to look at brain monitoring technologies.
FILM AND TELEVISION: Lights, Camera, Create! (Session 1 and 2)
You will take part in a hands on film workshop where you will create short films using cameras and sound equipment, working from pre prepared scripts. You will also head into the TV studio to participate in practical workshops focused on producing a television show.
In each session, the main group will be split into two smaller groups. One group will complete the film workshop while the other works in the TV studio, then the groups will swap so everyone gets to experience both activities.
GEOSPATIAL TECHNOLOGY: Where could drones, satellites and geospatial technology take you? (Session 2)
What if your future career could involve using drones, satellites, maps and data to understand the world from above? In this session, you will explore how geospatial technology is used to solve real-world problems across agriculture, mining, cities, water resources, environmental monitoring, natural hazards, climate change and remote field locations such as Antarctica, the Himalayas and volcanoes. The session is designed for students who are curious about technology, the environment, exploration, data, maps or science, and who may not yet realise that geospatial technology can lead to interesting career pathways across many different industries.
HUMANITIES AND COMMUNICATION: Mixing it with Industry – launch your career (Session 1)
In this workshop, you’ll get the chance to “speed date” the different study areas that make up Arts and Communication degrees, helping you quickly discover what sparks your interest. You’ll also meet real industry professionals who’ll share what their jobs are really like and introduce you to exciting career paths you might not have even realised were options in the Arts and Communication space.
HUMANITIES AND COMMUNICATION: Launch your career (Session 2)
In this workshop, you’ll get the chance to “speed date” the different study areas that make up Arts and Communication degrees, helping you quickly discover what sparks your interest. Find out about the studying at ʯÁñÊÓÆµ and the exciting career paths in the Arts and Communication space.
SURVEYING: Surveyor for a day! (Session 1 and 2)
Step into the role of a professional surveyor for the day and discover how engineers and construction teams measure and map the world around us. In this session, you will use real surveying instruments and equipment to set out precise points, learning the importance of accuracy, teamwork, and problem-solving in modern engineering and construction projects.
